We spent forever at Walmart trying to decide how to decorate our first Christmas tree (because of me 100% I won't even lie). I finally decided that because I made the final decision on the wedding colors that Dallas could make the final decision on the tree decorations. Is any one surprised that we ended up with a DUKE theme for Christmas?! We loved it!! We also bought a wreath to go on the front door, which has been on since we bought it so the lights are no longer on, the batteries died pretty quick! We stayed in Utah and spent Christmas together in our new home! We missed our families terribly but we were able to spend time with them during the wedding so it turned out okay. We made our own little Christmas dinner and mostly because Dallas is such a wonderful cook it turned out amazing. The only argument was about when I could start the mashed potatoes and because our crock pot is not large enough, Dallas won! We haven't made any big plans for new years, from the way the weather has been this week we might just end up snowed- that would be okay with me! Between the glittery Christmas ornaments and the glittery Christmas stockings- our carpet now has a beautiful blue, sliver and red glimmer! We are now shopping for a vacuum cleaner! :) Any Suggestions will be greatly appreciated! :)
